A TRIBUTE TO OUR NATION'S
SPIRIT AND COURAGE
Since the days of the American Revolution, pride and patriotism have been a hallmark of the United States, giving our nation vigor, direction, and sense of purpose. For over 150 years, America's postage stamps have celebrated this spirit by portraying the individuals, places, and events that shaped its destiny.
Now, in a tribute to this legacy, 25 of the stamps that capture the essence of American pride and patriotism have been preserved forever in solid silver ingots layered with pure gold, under the direction of the United States Postal Service. Aptly titled The United We Stand Collection, each ingot in this beautiful limited-edition set faithfully recreates its original masterpiece in full and intricate detail. And like the stamps themselves, each ingot is rich in fascinating facts and folklore.
The United States Postal Service has officially licensed and authorized the United We Stand Collection, the only one of its kind in the world.
As a subscriber to United We Stand, you will receive one ingot per month of each of the stamps until your collection is complete. Each delivery is accompanied by a factual description card that provides intriguing information on the stamp's origins and historic importance.
You will also receive, at no additional charge, an elegant lacquered wood collector's chest, lined in velvet, a collector's edition of The American Spirit, a jeweler's cloth, and an officially registered and numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Importantly for collectors, only 12,500 sets of United We Stand will be struck. As a specially-selected collector, you will receive one of the lowest numbered sets if you order early. When the minting is complete, the master dies will be defaced, never to be used again. They will be displayed in the Hall of Stamps at U.S. Postal Service Headquarters, Washington, D.C., along with the first set of ingots minted.
Six stamp ingots from the collection are highlighted on the following pages. Along with the remainder of the collection, they represent an enduring testimony to America's patriotic heritage.
